R&B Live was Hot.............
Happy Thursday!
So if you were not in the house at Justin’s Restaurant last night for the R&B Live event sponorsed by Hennessy Cognac, you should be slapping yourself today.
This event was phenomenal. R&B Live is an artist showcase originating out of the NYC. making it’s debut in the ATL last night with the one and only NEYO performing live. But get this not only did we get Neyo performing, we also got Cheri Dennis Bad Boy recording artist. And ladies her bob is just as fabulous in person as it is on the videos.
Since Neyo is one of my favorite artist of all times I was overly ecstatic to meet him up close and personal. He was the best. He was so friendly. He appreciates his fans. This man is so talented his voice sounded clear as a bell.
Other celebs in attendance included Manny, yeap Keisha’s Cole manager, Bobby Valentino, D Woods from making the band and Princess from Crime Mob, Usher's new wife Tameka Foster and R& B artist Sammie.
Now like any great venture there is an up side and a downside. I gave up the now let me give you the down.
I wished his performance was a little longer he did about four songs and was out.
Venue set up needs some work, if you have been to Justin’s in Atlanta then you know that is a little tight in there. So the standing room only people were standing room only.
Other than that….it was awesome. So check with The Urbansocialista for more updates for the next event. I give this a Social Status check.

Also in the city was actor Kenan Thompson launched his new magazine Style and Substance at the new Wet Bar aka 10th and Spring last week. Hosting the party was Kenan’s good friend Nick Cannon.
The magazine was originally launched in LA in 2006 as Substance & Style magazine, but Kenan opened up an Atlanta branch thanks to the ATL’s reputation for being the NY of the South. The Socialista was not in attendance for this one, but I heard it turned out well.
